Hello Michael Ambs,

The last two months of production have been full of disappointment, difficult decisions, and huge changes in our personal lives. It's been overwhelming.

For those of you who haven't yet watched our latest video-update, I'm currently setting up new HQs in Ypsi. Yes, as in Ypsilanti, Michigan, where the project first began six years ago.

Looking for a few good recruits!

We quietly launched our new 'Join our Team' (formally our "Get Involved" site) and we are looking for people who are excited about indie filmmaking and anxious to become a part of the driving force behind Pedal's out-reach goals.

Kickstarter Campaign

We're a few days into our newly created Kickstarter campaign! If you haven't heard of Kickstarter yet, it's a great community for funding projects your interested in. It's easy to pledge, and if a campaign doesn't reach it's goal - then you don't have to donate anything.

Being new to the site we started our first run at a $1,000 - which we can put aside for furthur filming we need to do in Northern California with Larry (follow up interviews and pick-up shots). Drop by and check it out.

Film Fest' Updates

Several months ago, Amanda and myself, were very busy submitting 64 Days to a long-list of upcoming film festivals. Including Ann Arbor, SXSW, the Bicycle Film Fest, and Babelgum... to name a few.

We were (unfortuantly) turned down for all of them this year. But! We are feeling very positive, we still have a  lot of work left to do and are excited about the future. We will continue to submit our making-of series to festivals, and focus hard on our out-reach campaign!
